Calculating the actual cost of your education each year will take some work and planning. The following are a few scenarios:
- Individual/single BA student in the first year of their program – Tuition 39 credit hours x 7,000= 273,000 + 20,000 (medical) +6,000 (accreditation) + 20,000 (housing) + 10,000 (registration) = 329,000 cfa
- Student with wife and 2 children in the last year of their BA program: Tuition 39 credit hours x 7,000 = 273,000 +20,000 (medical) + 40,000 (housing) + 10,000 (registration) + 15,000 (Graduation fee) + 20,000 (Child Care Center) + 40,000 (thesis writing) = 418,000cfa
- Individual/single M.A. student in the first year of their program: 35 credit hours x 14,000 = 490,000cfa +6,000 Accreditation) + 20,000 (medical) + 20,000 (housing) + 10,000 (registration) = 546,000cfa

Awards and Scholarships
JOHANNES AND MORNICA BONGMBA SCHOLARSHIP
This is an academic scholarship that is offered yearly to two students with the highest academic performance as well as moral integrity. This scholarship carries a cash prize of 100,000cfa each. Winners include highest Wimbum all round academic student and the highest all round academic student in the whole school.
ETOUG EBE BAPTIST CHURCH SCHOLARSHIP
C.Th./Dip.Th. This is a cash prize of 50,000cfa given to the highest academic student in the Certificate or Diploma of Theology Program. The student must also be morally and spiritually growing.
B.A.. This is a cash prize of 100,000cfa given to the highest academic student in the B.A. program. The student must be morally and spiritually mature.
LIMBE MILE 4 SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship carries a cash prize of 100,000cfa offered to both a C.Th./Dip.Th. and a B.A. student with the best academic performance. The student must also demonstrate integrity in his/her moral life. Each winner gets 50,000cfa.
- NGALA’s MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This is a yearly scholarship that carries a cash prize of 100,000cfa granted to a student who is good academically, morally, and has demonstrated great leadership skills while at the seminary.
SIL/CABTAL BIBLE TRANSLATION/LINGUISTICS SCHOLARSHIP
This is an academic scholarship offered to two students who are of good moral standing and demonstrate excellence in translation and linguistics respectively. Each winner gets a cash prize of 50,000cfa.
CHIEF PROFESSOR AND MRS JIKONG AWARD
This is an award that is granted to two married students who as couples have demonstrated love, interest, and devotion to family. Each winner gets a cash prize of 25,000cfa.
THE SHROEDER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This is a scholarship that is offered only to CBC Students who are studying at the Masters Level. The amount is determined by needs and availability of funds in the scholarship.
STUDENT MISSIONARY SCHOLARSHIP
The goal of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance for M.A. and B.A. students who are intending to serve as missionaries when they graduate from CBTS. Missionary service includes evangelism, church planting, Bible translation, compassion ministries, justice ministries, and care for creation (Christian workers who would not receive a salary as a church pastor). Criteria: satisfactory completion of one year of course work with an average of 80% or above; spiritual maturity and godly character with three or more references; financial need explained in a letter; written essay describing past service, calling, and intended future missionary work. Financial assistance: up to 100,000cfa per student per year (depending on the need expressed in the letter).
THE CBC Women’s Union award carries a cash prize of 30,000cfa given to one or two students who have demonstrated leadership in working with women.
The Nfah Mercy Award carries a cash prize of 15,000cfa offered to a single student who is good academically, morally, and is involved in ministry while studying at CBTS.
The Nso Field Scholarship carries a cash prize of 25,000cfa offered to a Nso Field recommended student who is academically and morally good. Dip.Th. selection for the winner of this scholarship is done by students recommended by Nso Field in the seminary and is ratified by faculty.
The Mbem Field Scholarship carries a cash prize of 60,000cfa and is granted to two Mbem Field recommended students who are good both academically and morally.
The Pastor & Mrs Nsame Award carries a cash prize of 10,000cfa and is offered to any mission-minded Diploma of Theology student who has passed through the Certificate of Theology Program.
